Mélange Press is a new independent publisher located in the Capital Region of New York.
When Kimberley Debus began editing Gary Fisher’s first novel, Channel Surfing with God, she had no idea that a publishing company would be born. But the more she researched self-publishing firms, the more she realized she could do it better, less expensively, and with much more care. With Gary’s support and encouragment, Kimberley formed Mélange Press as a division of her writing and editing firm, Word Alchemy, Inc.
And when she did, a funny thing happened.
More authors arrived, almost by instinct, to work with Kimberley and Mélange Press. And now, as they say, we have a ball game.
Mélange Press is a partnership publisher, and our authors share a common purpose, namely to share their vision through the written word. We publish a variety of genres — a “mélange,” if you will — but all of our books have one thing in common: passion.
We give both aspiring authors and seasoned wordsmiths a supportive environment for the development of ideas in a comfortable and professional atmosphere. We provide the services you expect from a large printing house with individual care and attention to your passion. We will guide you through the entire process, from manuscript development and content editing, copyediting and proofreading, layout and design, printing, publication, distribution, and promotion.
